Rates
$ 130 to $180 for individual or family in-office session. Group counseling sessions or virtual counseling provided upon request. Rates may vary.

Insurance
I am an authorized In-Network provider for Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Employee Assistance (EAP), E4 Health and other select plans. For clients who have any other insurance plans, I can provide a receipt that would be your responsibility to submit for reimbursement. If you have any other specific questions please check with your insurance provider.

Although I do accept insurance plans it is important for my clients to know that in many cases it is better not to involve the insurance company at all. This is based upon a desire to ensure that the decisions made during treatment are made with your best interests in mind, rather than by an insurance company which has different motivations and priorities. Managed care companies often try to dictate the goals, style, length, frequency, need and type of treatment.

Some companies even try to dictate what technique that they want used and can put up unnecessary roadblocks to treatment. Most disturbing though, is that full confidentiality is not an option. Managed care companies usually require therapists to file reports that disclose very personal material in order to obtain approval for additional sessions. There is also the responsibility of having to discontinue treatment before you are ready to do so due to no longer meeting the criteria set by the insurance company.

By offering very reasonable hourly rates for services, I have found this an additional incentive to those clients who may want to avoid processing through their insurance company to maximize confidentiality.

Payment
Cash, check and major credit cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
